Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care for a travel assignment in West Allis, WI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing with the ability to manage a variety of patient types from neonates to geriatrics. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced Level IV Trauma Center Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor cardiovascular status
  • Administer medications and manage IV lines
  • Participate in resuscitation and stabilization of patients
  • Assist with emergency procedures and treatments as required

Qualifications

Required:

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2-5 years of nursing experience
  • 1 year of Emergency Department experience within the past year
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
  • Strong IV skills and proficiency in general emergency department skills
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation/monitoring and medication titration experience

Preferred:

  • TNCC certification
