Assignment Overview

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room in Mount Pleasant, WI. This position requires an RN with experience in high-acuity, fast-paced emergency settings handling a variety of patient cases including trauma, CVA, sepsis, and pediatric emergencies. Ideal candidates will have strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex patient needs.

Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Level 4 Trauma, Stroke-ready
  • Shift Details: 3x12 Nights
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
  • Charting System: Epic
  • IV Pumps: Alaris
  • Med Dispensing: Pyxis
  • Weekend rotation: Every other
  • Holiday Expectations: Every other holiday
  • Orientation: NEO, (2) 12-hour shifts on the unit

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care for emergency room patients
  • Manage post-surgical, CVA, sepsis, pneumonia, trauma, and other critical conditions
  • Collaborate with unit support, including ED techs and charge nurses
  • Utilize airway management and RSI knowledge, cardiac drips, and emergency codes
  • Effectively manage CVA and STEMI cases

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months of emergency room experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC certifications
  • Skills in airway management, cardiac drips, and emergency management
