Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring acute ER experience and TNCC, PALS, and ACLS certification.

Details

• 28-bed Emergency Department with a full night shift team including charge RN, 10 RNs, 2-3 techs, and a unit secretary
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment
• Work 4 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute Emergency Department experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, EKGs, and other typical ED procedures
• Trauma experience preferred
• Ideal candidates are active and personable
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
