Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Dept RN for a 16-week night shift contract requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and TNCC/ACLS/PALS certification.

Details

• Emergency Dept-Trauma unit setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR system
• May float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
• 16-week contract length

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA)
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI/MOAB High-Risk training (online and on-site portions) required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity Emergency Department-Trauma setting
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• 2 out of 3 holiday coverage commitment required
• On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training completed during orientation
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply affecting pay rate
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
