Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a KS or compact license and TNCC/NIHSS certification.

Details

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department
  • 16-week contract with night shift hours from 19:00-07:30
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Floating to like units on the same or another campus within Wichita may be required
  • Uses Cerner OneChart EHR
  • 2 out of 3 holiday commitment required

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • CPI/MOAB High Risk training (online and on-site portions) required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Ceil blue scrubs required
  • On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training completed during orientation
  • Radius rule applies which allows local candidates at a reduced rate
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
