Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule varies, generally 3p-3a
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department specialty
• Current AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Cerner EMR experience

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Returning staff previously employed permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO must be requested at time of submission and cannot be requested after an offer is made
