Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist specializing in Transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies in Houston, Texas. This role involves performing high-quality Doppler Ultrasound studies to locate major arteries within the brain, supporting neurosurgical assessments and patient diagnostics. The position requires technical expertise in neurodiagnostics and patient care, with scheduling Monday through Friday daytime shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; successful completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program; 5 years of relevant work experience; BLS certification
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEGT.) via ABRET
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: Performs TCD studies to identify MCA, ACA, ICA, PCA, and Basilar Arteries on both sides of the brain, explains procedures to patients, sanitizes equipment, and generates reports for neurosurgeons. The assignment may be canceled up to four shifts within a 13-week period, or three shifts if the duration is shorter.
