Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a variable mids/night shift position requiring CO or compact RN license and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Variable 12-hour shifts covering mids/nights
  • 36 hours per week across 3 shifts
  • Weekend shifts required
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
  • May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
  • ASN required, BSN preferred
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS (all AHA, must not expire prior to start)
  • Epic charting experience
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while documenting per hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapy directly to patients or through consultation and supervision
  • Refer patients for further evaluation and monitor ongoing treatment plans
  • Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
