Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in delivering care in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma Center environment. Candidates who have worked with diverse medical conditions, including trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies, are preferred. This position is well-suited for professionals adept in managing high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in the emergency department setting.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in clinical decision-making.
  • Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including ED techs, critical care pharmacists, and other medical personnel.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
  • Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center

Preferred:

  • First-time travelers with 3+ years of Level 1 trauma center experience
