• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating: Float within skill set as needed
• Charting System: Cerner experience required

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience required
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Recent experience in a high-volume Emergency Department with at least 125 visits per day required
• Triage experience is a hard stop requirement
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Strong emergency nursing skills including dysrhythmia interpretation, IV starts, phlebotomy, isolation precautions, and ventilated patient care
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Must be comfortable floating within skill set
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy, high-acuity ED environment
• Perform triage, prioritize patient needs, and respond quickly to changing clinical situations
• Care for patients across the lifespan, including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Monitor, assess, and intervene for patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, dysrhythmia interpretation, and respiratory support needs within scope
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner
• Support a fast-paced unit while demonstrating excellent organization, adaptability, and critical thinking
• Float to related areas within your skill set as needed
