Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact state; no temporary licenses accepted
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required; candidates with at least 18 months may be considered
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• Current AHA PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, patient-facing emergency care environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Support care for critical, trauma, and high-volume emergency cases
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff
• Deliver safe, efficient care while following facility protocols and standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly across the care team
• Float to other units or hospitals when needed to support patient care
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-centered experience
