Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Operating Room Open Heart Multiple Locations. This position supports cardiovascular surgical procedures in an adult acute-care setting, including cardiac monitoring, cardiovascular surgical scrubbing, blood product administration, and complex cardiac procedures. The assignment includes 12-hour day shifts, a 1:1 patient ratio, call coverage, and weekend responsibilities.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts; 36 hours per week.

- Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; compact state license in hand at submission; required electronic charting system experience; cardiovascular surgical scrub experience; experience with cardiovascular operating room procedures, cardiac monitoring, blood and blood product administration, coronary artery bypass graft procedures, aortic aneurysm repair, valve replacement, transplant surgery, ventricular assist devices, electrosurgical units, specimen handling, and universal protocol.
- Additional Information: Adult patient population with a 1:1 patient ratio. Call coverage is required based on unit needs, including one call weekend per month. Weekend coverage is required, and availability to work three of five designated holidays may be required. The position may require rotation between units or nearby facilities based on clinical needs.
