Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of solid CVICU, ICU, or comparable critical care nursing experience
• Current, active RN license in good standing
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• CCRN is a plus
• Strong ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor strips
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiovascular ICU
• Excellent assessment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Experience titrating vasoactive drips and sedation infusions

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care for complex cardiovascular ICU patients
• Care for patients with CABG, valve, vascular, STEMI, shock, and other critical cardiac conditions
• Manage ventilated patients and support advanced respiratory needs in collaboration with the care team
• Titrate multiple drips according to protocol and provider orders
• Interpret telemetry strips and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with invasive lines and advanced monitoring equipment
• Float to every level of care as needed and take a full patient assignment
• Document accurately in EPIC and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care while maintaining safety and efficiency
