Join a leading acute-care hospital as a CVICU Registered Nurse in Knoxville, TN. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient care is the top priority. As a CVICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the CVICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date.
• Float required: Yes, 2 weekends per month or every other weekend.

Please note that travelers requesting time off (RTO) during any holiday or holiday week will not be accommodated. This policy applies to various holidays throughout the year. Local candidates will receive $10 less than the traveler bill rate if within 75 miles of the facility.
