Join Our Dynamic ICU Team as a Travel RN - CVICU!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** North Charleston, SC - **Unit:** 65020 ICU - **Number of Beds:** 28 - Mixed ICU - **Patient Ratios:** 1:2, 1:3 – Holding inpatient PCU/med surg admissions **Unit Staffing Description:** - RNs dedicated to exceptional patient care - Equipped with i-mobile phones for each care team member - Mobile computer workstation on wheels for efficient documentation via Meditech **Scheduling Requirements:** - Three 12-hour shifts per week - Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees **Floating Policy:** - Travelers may float to emergency department or PCU as needed **Patient Experience Requirements:** - Utilize bedside shift report for patient handoff **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 36 months RN experience - At least one year in an ICU setting - Prior successful travel nursing assignment preferred (Meditech experience) - Comfort in caring for 1-3 ICU patients and managing ventilated patients - Proficient in reading telemetry strips **Advanced Skills Needed:** - CRRT - Advanced Hemodynamics - Phlebotomy **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Post-operative CABG (fresh heart from OR) - Impellas, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz, and Advanced Hemodynamics - Neuro procedures for aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage - Experience with EVDs, bolts (Codman), and Arctic Sun for induced hypothermia **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - NIH Stroke Scale **Dress Code:** - Navy uniform **Why Join Us?** - Opportunities for training in Neuro ICU and Cardiovascular ICU - Ability to care for patients with head and neck flap procedures - Join one of the 14 programs in the nation specialized in this area **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
