**Join Our Dynamic CVICU Team!** - **Location:** Nashville, TN - **Unit Name:** CVICU - **Cost Center:** 653/64125 - **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM **Why You'll Love This Opportunity:** - Join a **16-bed CVICU** known for excellence in post-operative cardiac surgery care. - **Patient Ratios:** 1:2 and 1:1 for specific device patients. - Work with a **team of 5 full-time surgeons** performing high-volume and advanced procedures. - Enjoy the support of an **Intensivist assigned to the unit 24/7**. - Be part of a **strong, driven team** of nurses committed to outstanding patient care and teamwork. **Unit Details:** - **Equipment:** Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Alaris IV pumps. - **Documentation System:** Meditech. - **Floater Policy:** C/L employees may float to other ICUs or floors as needed. **Candidate Requirements:** - **Experience:** Strong critical care experience, especially in CVICU. - **Advanced Skills:** - Proficiency with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring. - Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT. - **Procedures:** - Care for immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS. - Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, etc. - **Certifications:** - ACLS and BLS required. **Scheduling Requirements:** - 2 weekends/month. - 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day). - 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day). **Dress Code:** - Scrubs in black, red, or galaxy blue; scrub jackets/vests only. **Recognitions:** - HCA Unit of Distinction Award Winner. - Daisy Award Recipient. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
