Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, CVICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), 36 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:2. Daily census of 7 patients in a 10-bed Coronary Care Unit.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• Work with advanced cardiac technologies including ECMO, IABP, and Swan Ganz monitoring
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• 36-hour orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with complex cardiac conditions

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
• Proficiency in critical care skills including arterial line management, ventilator care, central line management, cardiac drip titration, vasoactive drip titration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and care of ECMO patients
• Community hospital, LTAC, and trauma center experience preferred
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
