Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Patient ratio 1:2. 91-day assignment with 36 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) specializing in critical cardiac care
• 10-bed unit with average daily census of 7 patients, providing focused critical care
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Advanced critical care environment caring for adult and geriatric populations
• Extensive clinical skills including ECMO, IABP, post-cardiac surgery care, and hemodynamic monitoring
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios and Epic charting system required
• Proficiency in arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with ECMO, IABP, pulmonary artery line monitoring, and post-cardiac surgery care preferred
• Previous charge experience, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
