Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy imaging with ARRT registration required.

Details

• Performs computed tomography (CT) imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• Cares for patients ranging from adolescents through geriatric populations
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
• Day shift options include 7am-5:30pm, 8am-6:30pm, or 9am-7:30pm

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
• Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• State RT license required if applicable
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care across the age spectrum
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Performs routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manages supply inventory
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
