Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy imaging procedures for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.

Details

Day shift schedule with options of 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM, or 9:00 AM-7:30 PM
Performs CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations

Requirements

ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
BLS certification required
Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in state of practice; license required if applicable
Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials via venipuncture
Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty, with recent experience within the last 3 months

Additional Information

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients from adolescence through geriatric age groups
Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
Ensures integrity of patient medical images and data in accordance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
Performs routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manages supply inventory
Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
