    CT Technologist – Night Shift

    Key Responsibilities
    • Operate CT equipment including CT scanner, Power Injector, Laser Printer, and patient monitoring devices to acquire diagnostic images in accordance with departmental protocols.
    • Prepare, position, and immobilize patients appropriately; select proper imaging factors and apply protective shielding as needed.
    • Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under the direction of a radiologist, following all applicable contrast administration policies and procedures.
    • Execute Radiology Information System functions for each patient exam, including scheduling, completing exams, and transferring images to PACS.
    • Calibrate and verify operation of all equipment at the start of each shift; report malfunctions and needed repairs to appropriate personnel.
    • Float among radiology clinics and associated divisions as needed; transport and transfer patients in accordance with departmental guidelines.
    Required Qualifications
    • Level 1 trauma experience required.
    • Siemens CT equipment experience required.
    • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
    • Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license required.
    • Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent required.
    • ARRT CT certification (or equivalent) required, or must obtain within one year of start date.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2–3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least one year of cross-sectional anatomy coursework.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients experiencing physical and/or emotional stress.
    • Experience overseeing or instructing radiology students or support personnel within a clinical department.
