License: South Carolina License required. Certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT) Must-Have: Must have experience with PIV and Siemens systems. Must have level 1 trauma experience. Must provide a radiation badge from the agency. Description: Position/Specialty: CT Scan Tech. Daily caseload per tech varies by shift and location. Will work four 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday. Schedule includes holiday rotation. On-call rotation is required with staff. Clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs. Travelers are expected to attend all staff meetings. First-time travelers are accepted if they have previous experience. Experience with 3D rendering and various imaging procedures is preferred. Experience with adult acute care and outpatients is necessary. Contributions may include biopsies, aspirations, and other specialized procedures. Clienttion safety knowledge is required. Candidates must be capable of completing required studies: abdomen, chest, pelvis, and cardiac imaging. Integrated care providers work collaboratively to enhance patient outcomes. The environment supports a population of adolescents to geriatrics. Daily patient census stands at approximately 130. Additional responsibilities may consist of preparation and administration of contrast media. Travelers should be aware of emergency response roles during hurricane season. Flexibility in scheduling and patient care is essential, including weekends when needed. Adherence to safety protocols is mandatory throughout the assignment.
