Daily caseload per tech varies per shift and location. Work schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM with holiday rotation. On-call requirement is not applicable. Clinician will float within their scope to meet facility needs. Travelers are required to attend all staff meetings. First-timers are accepted if they have previous experience. Clienttion badges must be provided by the agency. Experience in PIV, Siemens, and Level 1 Trauma is required. No pending state licenses will be accepted; must have it in hand before starting. All requests for time off must be included during submission. Facility allowed to call off one shift per two weeks. Type of facility is a teaching hospital with Magnet status. Facility has a total of 865 staffed beds. Scrub color required is teal tops with black bottoms. Charting system utilized is Epic. Additional unit information includes support for interdisciplinary collaboration. The facility caters to patients of various age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 130. Special Procedures experience in biopsies and drainage is preferred. The facility includes advanced imaging technology from Siemens. Travelers should be aware of potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season. All lab requirements are to be completed within a specific timeframe. Modules are non-billable and average four hours spent on training.
