ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Contract in Woodruff, Wisconsin

Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110–$2,220
- Location: Woodruff, Wisconsin
- Healthcare Setting: ICU and Intermediate Care
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights, approximately 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; variable day and night assignments may be required
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
- Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Floating: May float to medical-surgical and other regional units based on staffing needs; floating may be prescheduled
- Call Requirements: Low-census call may be assigned; call-back minimum is two hours
- Charting: Epic experience preferred
- Scrubs: Any color
ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of recent ICU, critical care, or intensive care nursing experience
- Associate degree or nursing certificate required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Epic electronic medical record charting experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work on-site and float to other assigned units as needed
ICU Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed ICU and intermediate care setting
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in acuity, and respond promptly to clinical needs
- Manage typical ICU patient assignments at an approximate 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Care for intermediate care and medical-surgical patients according to unit assignment and staffing needs
- Administer medications and treatments, perform nursing assessments, and coordinate individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care and clinical changes in the electronic medical record
- Float to other designated units or regional locations when scheduled and participate in weekend, holiday, and call rotations
