- Setting: 18-bed Neuroscience ICU
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience in the specialty within the last 3 years
- Prior ICU experience required
- Neurosurgery experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Basic arrhythmia knowledge required
- Must be able to pass telemetry testing prior to start
- Travel nursing experience required
- Ability to float as needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality critical care nursing to neuro ICU patients in a busy acute care setting
- Care for patients with stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracranial hemorrhage, status epilepticus, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and post-neurosurgical conditions
- Monitor and manage complex neurologic and hemodynamic conditions, including ICP and ventricular devices
- Provide skilled care involving EVDs, lumbar drains, arterial lines, ventilators, and vasoactive infusions
- Interpret telemetry rhythms, recognize changes in patient status, and respond quickly to emergent needs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold strong infection prevention and patient safety practices
- Adapt to rotating shifts, weekend coverage, and floating requirements with professionalism and flexibility
