- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts per week, with day and night coverage (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 hours per week

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370

Job Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in CVICU or a similar critical care setting
- CVICU experience required
- Experience with NextStage CVVH / NxStage required
- Epic charting experience required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- AHA BLS and ACLS required
- Ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity ICU environment
- Willingness to float as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to cardiovascular and cardiothoracic ICU patients
- Monitor and manage patients recovering from CABG, valve repair or replacement, aneurysm repair, aortic dissection repair, transplant procedures, STEMI/NSTEMI, and cardiogenic shock
- Support patients requiring advanced critical care therapies and devices such as CRRT, IABP, Impella, LVAD, ECMO, and ventilator support
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, manage dysrhythmias, and interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data
- Assist with line care, chest tube management, sheath removal, blood product administration, and other ICU procedures
- Collaborate with charge nurses, rapid response teams, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Deliver compassionate, family-centered care while maintaining the highest standard of clinical excellence
