- Schedule: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights, typically 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Weekend/Holiday Needs: Every other weekend and some holidays may be required
- Float: Required across multiple critical care and progressive care units
- Schedule Flexibility: Block scheduling may be accommodated, and 4x12s may be considered

Job Requirements
- Current Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of acute care Registered Nurse experience in the specialty within the last 3 years
- Prior adult ICU experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Experience in multiple ICU settings strongly preferred, such as Neuro ICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, or MSICU
- BLS and ACLS certifications required through AHA
- Strong telemetry and basic arrhythmia interpretation skills; pass/fail telemetry exam required before start
- Epic charting experience required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Ability to work flexible night shifts and float as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide expert bedside care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced float pool environment
- Care for patients across a range of high-acuity areas, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, trauma surgery, surgical, and progressive care units
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition using advanced critical care nursing judgment
- Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, sedation, arterial lines, central lines, and other ICU technologies as assigned
- Interpret telemetry rhythms and maintain a strong focus on cardiac safety and patient stabilization
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, coordinated patient care
- Adapt quickly to changing assignments and float between critical care units as needed
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care while supporting a collaborative, shared-governance environment
