• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Schedule: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights, typically 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Weekend/Holiday Needs: Every other weekend and some holidays may be required
• Float: Required across multiple critical care and progressive care units
• Schedule Flexibility: Block scheduling may be accommodated, and 4x12s may be considered

Job Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of acute care Registered Nurse experience in the specialty within the last 3 years
• Prior adult ICU experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience in multiple ICU settings strongly preferred, such as Neuro ICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, or MSICU
• BLS and ACLS certifications required through AHA
• Strong telemetry and basic arrhythmia interpretation skills; pass/fail telemetry exam required before start
• Epic charting experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Ability to work flexible night shifts and float as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide expert bedside care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced float pool environment
• Care for patients across a range of high-acuity areas, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, trauma surgery, surgical, and progressive care units
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition using advanced critical care nursing judgment
• Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, sedation, arterial lines, central lines, and other ICU technologies as assigned
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and maintain a strong focus on cardiac safety and patient stabilization
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, coordinated patient care
• Adapt quickly to changing assignments and float between critical care units as needed
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care while supporting a collaborative, shared-governance environment
