Unit features 12 surgical suites with approximately 20 cases per day. Common cases include CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplant, robotics, peripheral vascular, thoracic, aortic repair, vascular access, hybrid procedures (TEVAR/EVAR, TAVR), Impella, IABP, and ECMO. Ideal candidates will possess experience scrubbing in a fast-paced, complex environment. The program requires highly-skilled, experienced staff. Candidates must be able to adapt to various surgeons and utilize prior experience effectively. High acuity environment requires a strong knowledge base in general OR practices. Mandatory call and weekend requirements are in place, with a response time of 30 minutes. Weekly scheduling includes all shifts to provide 24/7 in-house coverage. Floating requirements do not apply. Unit/department specific orientation will be provided. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic surgical environment.
