Description: The role is focused on cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services. Experience in vascular surgery and robotic procedures is highly valued. Candidates will be reviewed for clinical fit. If clinical standards are met, candidates will proceed to management interview. The unit operates on a weekend schedule from Friday to Sunday. If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler must work both holidays. For three major holidays, the traveler is expected to work two. Compliance requirements must be met to ensure timely onboarding. Full compliance is expected before the start date. Flexible orientation hours may be part of the onboarding process. Travelers with prior experience in a hospital setting are preferred. This position may require additional skills in specific surgical procedures and techniques. Interdisciplinary support is part of the patient care approach.
