Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina.

Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech

Shift Details

Days: 07:00 - 15:30

On-Call Requirements

Rotational on-call is required with expectations of 8-10 shifts per month, including weekend coverage.

Preferred Experience

Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience
Electrophysiology (EP) experience

Required Experience and Skills

Pediatric and Adult Transplant procedures
Right and Left Biopsy
Balloon and Stent placements
Valve Placement
Interventional Radiology experience (preferably pediatric)

Cath Lab Information

Number of Cath Lab Rooms: 2

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required. First-time travelers are welcomed to apply.

Certifications Required

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Certification from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with either RCIS or RCES is preferred.
ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) is also acceptable.

Radiation Safety

A radiation badge is required, which must be provided by the agency.

Schedule Flexibility

Accommodations for block schedules may be available at the manager's discretion.

Travelers and Local Candidates

Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Request Time Off (RTO) Restrictions

All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application, and approval will depend on facility needs.

Guaranteed Hours

The facility reserves the right to adjust hours with a maximum of 1 shift canceled every 2 weeks. Canceled hours can be combined to total 1 shift.

Emergency Response Responsibilities

All employees and contractors are assigned to emergency response teams. This may affect scheduling during emergency situations, particularly during hurricane season from June to November.
