Pediatric Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab and will be involved in various procedures related to pediatric and adult cardiac care.

Responsibilities

Assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures including Pediatric/Adult Transplant, R/L Biopsy, Balloon and Stent placements, and Valve Placements.
May also participate in Interventional Radiology procedures, preferably in pediatric settings.
Ensure optimal patient care and safety during all procedures.
Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of radiologic devices.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Pediatric Cath Lab or related field.
Current certifications in PALS, BLS, and ACLS (American Heart Association accepted).
Preferred certifications include CCI with RCIS/RCES; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) is also acceptable.
Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a day shift, with hours from 07:00 to 15:30. Additionally, candidates should be open to on-call rotations, fulfilling approximately 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage.

Additional Information

Guaranteed hours, with the provision that the facility can call off one shift per two weeks.
Charting will be conducted via EPIC.
Parking offered at a nominal fee; applicable only during night and weekend shifts.
All staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams as part of disaster preparedness.
