X-Ray Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience, particularly in catheterization and procedural settings. This role requires proficiency in monitoring and scrubbing during structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, impella, ECMO, and emergent catheterization cases.

Schedule

The position is full-time, consisting of five 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with start times at either 7 AM or 8 AM, and ending between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM. The role includes being on call two days a week and 1-2 weekends each month.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and ensure the highest quality images.
• Scrub and monitor during catheterization procedures and related interventions.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort at all times during examinations.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for patient record management and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of catheterization experience is preferred.
• Must hold valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography certification.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) licensing in the state of practice is required (California and Hawaii).
• Current Fluoroscopy license in the state of California is required within six months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
