Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist who will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate radiographic equipment and assist in patient care effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including radiography and fluoroscopy as per physician orders.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with safety protocols during imaging procedures.
Maintain radiographic equipment and report any malfunctions to supervisory personnel.
Ensure accurate and complete patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
Collaborate effectively with medical staff and maintain communication with patients.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is preferred.
One year of catheterization experience is preferred.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R) certification is required.
Must hold a Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (California and Hawaii).
Current Fluoroscopy license in California is required within the first six months of hire.
CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
