Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of interventional cath lab experience and completion of at least one prior travel assignment.

Details

• Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirement of 1-2 weeknight call shifts (Monday-Friday) and 3-24 hour weekend call shift per month
• Weekly orientation schedule

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience required within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• CCI RCIS or ARRT(R) certification required
• MD state license required if candidate holds ARRT certification; license required if applicable
• Skills required: interventional cath procedures, cardiac stent placement, scrubbing/maintaining sterile field, right and left heart catheterization, rotablader, thrombectomy, stent placement, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
• Preferred skills: Cerner charting system experience, acute monitoring, room circulator duties, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR procedures
• Must be able to function effectively in a high-paced, efficient environment
• Must be a strong team player

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing cardiac catheterization procedures, stent placements, angioplasty, thrombectomy, and assisting with structural heart interventions
• Scrubs provided
• Local candidates accepted within 60 miles at a reduced rate
• No more than 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Previously employed staff must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler
