Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating call. The unit features three labs with a patient ratio of 3:1. Type of equipment used includes GE lab, Impella, balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS. Documentation system utilized is Merge Hemo documentation. Floating to nearby facilities may be required for STEMI call coverage. Procedures performed include right and left heart catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventional, as well as peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of lab experience. Dress code includes provided OR scrubs. Unit-specific policies and guidelines are required.
