Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring an active MA license and 2 years of relevant experience with no weekend or call obligations.

Details

  • Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic-only exams with pre/during/post-op patient care
  • Unit includes 1 procedure room and 3 bay areas
  • Day shift schedule (5x8 hours) with varied start times ranging from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • Shift lengths may vary between 8 and 10 hours depending on need
  • No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
  • Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must complete a Pass/Fail Tele test and Medication exam during orientation with an 80% passing score
  • Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Additional Information

  • Provide diagnostic and peri-procedural nursing care in the Cath Lab setting
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at the same bill rate
  • Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
  • Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations available
  • Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week
