Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment requiring cath lab experience and call coverage for STEMI or vascular cases.

Details

• Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• 36 hours per week on 4x10 day shift schedule (7:00 AM-5:30 PM)
• On-call requirement of 8-12 days per month for STEMI or vascular cases
• Floating to similar units within scope may be required based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required, pending license accepted if obtained prior to start
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; RCIS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Skilled in cardioversion, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and PA line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Scrub procedure and medication administration/monitoring skills preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac cath lab setting including circulating and scrub procedures
• Complete onsite orientation modules (approximately 4-6 hours for RNs)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the position
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
• No more than 4 days of RTO can be auto-approved at time of submission
