Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of cath lab experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Multimodality lab including Cath Lab, vascular, IR, EP, and Neuro across 3 labs
• Uses Cerner EHR and Merge hemodynamic monitoring system
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 4x10-hour shifts, 06:30-17:00
• Must be flexible with scheduling
• Requires 7-10 days of call per month

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• BLS Provider certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required for all licensed professionals

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures
• Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed
• Prepare, implement, and document plan of care
• Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during, and after procedures
• Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures
• Set up and manage equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rule
• First-time travelers may be considered
