Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a multimodality lab requiring at least 1 year of cath lab experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Multimodality lab including Cath Lab, vascular, IR, EP, and Neuro with 3 labs
• Uses Cerner EHR and Merge hemodynamic monitoring system
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, four 10-hour shifts from 06:30-17:00
• Requires flexibility with 7-10 days of call per month
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures, including conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Prepare, implement, and document plans of care and communicate patient status with physicians before, during, and after procedures
• Perform and/or assist with diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, including equipment setup
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
