Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for an interventional cardiac cath lab, requiring ARRT, BLS, and at least 1 year of direct cath lab experience.
Details
- Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call requirement of 2 shifts per week plus 1 weekend per schedule period
- STEMI call requires tech to be in the lab, dressed, and ready within 30 minutes of page
- 30-minute meal break
- No weekend requirement outside of on-call rotation
Requirements
- ARRT and BLS certification required
- IL license required if applicable
- BLS (and ACLS if required) must be through AHA
- Minimum of 1 year direct cath lab experience required
- BSN required
- Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences required
- Skills required include cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and PCI
- Preferred skills include ASD closures, interpretation of dysrhythmias, laser-assisted procedures, and TAVR
Additional Information
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases
- May be required to float between units or facilities within the health system upon manager request
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate
- Non-licensed direct patient caregivers not listed as eligible in the IL Healthcare Worker Registry must travel to Illinois for mandatory fingerprinting prior to their start date
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be added later
