GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Management for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Case Manager Registered Nurse to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care by assessing, evaluating, and driving discharge plans while coordinating services to ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care.
Unit Details: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that treatment plans are initiated, evaluated, and re-evaluated daily. You will monitor patient progress and identify barriers to discharge while adhering to Medicare regulatory guidelines regarding patient choice, IMM notices, and MOONS.
Schedule: This position requires a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call duties. You may float within the facility/scope of practice as needed.
Minimum Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience, as first-time travelers are not accepted for this unit. A clinical screen will be conducted to determine the candidate's fit, and upon passing, the candidate will be sent to the manager for a final decision.
Requests for Time Off (RTO): A maximum of 7 days is allowed, and any requests should be discussed during the interview. The manager has requested no RTO during September.
Holidays: If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler must work both. For three major holidays, the traveler is expected to work two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant, there may be a two-week pushback due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals are accepted at the same rate. Please note that the number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
