Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular nursing position with rotating day and night shifts. The role provides care for critically ill patients requiring mechanically circulatory support, including patients with advanced heart failure, multisystem failure, and those recovering from cardiac surgery. The assignment supports a high-acuity cardiac intensive care environment with a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:2.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular experience
  • At least 1 year of travel experience
  • Professional license verification required
  • Expertise in advanced heart failure management
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with mechanically circulatory support
• Additional Information:
  • Provides care for patients supported by Impella devices, durable ventricular assist devices, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, and intra-aortic balloon pumps.
  • Patient population includes multisystem failure, advanced heart failure, and fresh postoperative cardiac surgery patients.
  • The unit has 16 beds and a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:2.
  • Assignment dates are 12/13/2026 through 03/13/2027.
