GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri.
Join a leading acute-care hospital in Kansas City, MO, as a Seasonal Travel RN in the 4 North Cardiac Telemetry unit. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a supportive, family-like atmosphere. Our team values both tenured and new staff, fostering a culture where many contracts have transitioned into full-time employment.
Unit Specifics:
Scheduling Requirements: Must work full-time hours including 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period. Contract nurses will be floated to any area where they have demonstrated competency.
Patient Experience Requirements: Align with our patient experience goals by treating every patient with courtesy and respect. This includes being responsive to call lights, using patients' preferred names, making personal connections, and involving patients in bedside shift reports.
Requested Skill Set:
Procedures Performed on Unit: IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, Chest Tube maintenance, Temporary Pacemakers, Foley insertions.
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs. May wear black scrub pants with Navy Blue top.
Awards/Recognition: AHA has awarded us Get With the Guidelines-Heart Failure GOLD PLUS with Honor Roll.
