Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred
• 2 years of travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong telemetry nursing skills, including rhythm recognition and strip interpretation
• Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
• Comfortable floating between multiple units within the hospital
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to work independently while adapting quickly to changing patient needs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry and med/surg patients in a float pool environment
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips routinely
• Manage cardiac drips in accordance with clinical protocols and hospital standards
• Care for a varied patient population, including ED border patients and transfer-ready ICU patients
• Deliver safe, organized, high-quality nursing care while adapting to different unit workflows
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record
• Maintain flexibility to float between multiple acute care units as assigned
