Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in one clinical setting
• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Telemetry nursing competency with the ability to read and interpret tele strips
• Strong med/surg nursing and neuro assessment skills
• Experience caring for orthopedic, neuro/surgical, fracture, and general medical overflow patients
• Comfortable working nights and adapting to unit needs as assigned

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to telemetry med/surg patients on a busy night shift
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and accurately interpret telemetry strips
• Complete focused neuro assessments and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care for orthopedic, neuro/surgical, and medical overflow patients
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support efficient patient flow
• Float to other applicable units when requested
• Maintain a patient-focused approach while working in a fast-paced inpatient environment
