Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Telemetry unit located in Independence, Missouri. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated healthcare professionals looking to make a difference in patient care while enjoying the flexibility of a contract role.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 36
  • Number of Staff: 70
  • Patient Ratios: 4 to 5:1
  • Type of Equipment: Pyxis, Alaris pumps, Welch Allen Vitals machines
  • EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

Skill Set:

  • Must have: ACLS, experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, Cardizem drips.
  • Preferred: Candidates with additional telemetry experience will be prioritized.

Best Personality Fit: We are looking for a fast-paced, high-energy individual with a strong sense of teamwork.

Required Certifications: ACLS

Floating Areas: Other telemetry departments, med-surg, PCU

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Grey for RNs

Weekends and On Call: 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule. Friday and Saturday for nights, Saturday and Sunday for days.
