Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Telemetry night shift position requiring 2+ years of relevant RN experience.

Details

• Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-7:15)
• 13-week minimum assignment length, longer contracts may be available

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• 2 years of relevant RN experience required
• Can submit with license/certifications pending
• Two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months highly preferred at submission, required at start

Additional Information

• Weekly orientation provided
• Pre-start and annual completion of online/in-person training modules required (8-10 hours for acute care roles)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• RTO requests of 7 days or less may be auto-approved if not falling on a holiday; longer requests require facility approval
• No RTO permitted during first week of assignment due to orientation
• Travel pairs allowed, provided each has independent transportation and is comfortable with differing schedules
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Previous Novant Health or New Hanover PERM/PRN/EP employees must wait 12 months before applying as a traveler, subject to facility rehire approval
