Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift float position requiring 2+ years of comparable acuity experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.

Details

• Acute care setting with float assignments determined by nursing supervisor
• May float to units including Medical comfort care, Surgery/GI, Trauma, Medical, Observation, Oncology, Nephrology, Ortho, Joint Replacement, Neuro, Vascular, Pulmonary, Cardiac Surgery, and Cardiac
• Night shift 3x12 hours, 6:45p-7:15a with 30-minute lunch
• Patient ratios vary by need, typically 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No block scheduling accommodations

Requirements

• Active unencumbered TN or compact RN license required in hand, pending licenses not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting required
• Prior Cerner EMR charting experience required
• Two references required, may be pending at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Royal Blue scrubs required
• Completes required training modules during orientation and annually, varying by specialty
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Previous employees are eligible to return
