Transportation Finance Sales Representative

Location: Southern California (Castaic to San Diego)

Compensation: $125, 000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission Plan

ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading independent transportation finance company is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to develop and grow equipment finance business throughout Southern California. This role focuses on originating transactions through both end-user and dealer relationships, with a primary emphasis on vocational trucks, trailers, and transportation-related equipment.

This is an opportunity to join a high-volume platform with strong funding capabilities, flexible structuring, and an established presence in the transportation finance market.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and manage relationships with transportation companies, fleet operators, and equipment dealers throughout Southern California.
  • Originate financing transactions for new and used trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
  • Generate business through direct sales efforts and dealer partnerships.
  • Structure financing solutions that meet customer needs while achieving profitability objectives.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with credit and operations teams to facilitate approvals and funding.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in equipment finance, transportation finance, leasing, commercial lending, or truck dealership finance.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of vocational trucking, transportation, fleet, or trailer markets preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a large geographic territory.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer relationships and sales growth.
