Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Training & Development Specialist to develop, coordinate, and facilitate employee learning and development programs for a large healthcare organization. This role will research training materials and methods, develop and update courses, establish curriculum, and deliver training through virtual and in-person formats. The Training Specialist will support new employee and leader orientation, leadership development, customer experience, technical training, and other organizational development programs.
Responsibilities
- Research training materials and methods, and develop, update, and modify courses and curriculum based on organizational needs
- Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person training programs for employees and leaders at various levels throughout the organization
- Support new employee orientation, new leader orientation, leadership development, customer experience, technical training, and other educational programs
- Coordinate training logistics, including class scheduling, enrollment, materials, and other administrative activities
- Utilize Learning Management Systems to support course administration, enrollment, tracking, and training delivery
- Collaborate with organizational leaders and team members to identify learning needs, resolve training-related issues, and ensure effective program delivery
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience coordinating and delivering employee development programs for employees at various levels
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex business and technical information
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems, such as Cornerstone OnDemand or similar platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strong organizational and problem-resolution skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization
- Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus
