Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Training & Development Specialist to develop, coordinate, and facilitate employee learning and development programs for a large healthcare organization. This role will research training materials and methods, develop and update courses, establish curriculum, and deliver training through virtual and in-person formats. The Training Specialist will support new employee and leader orientation, leadership development, customer experience, technical training, and other organizational development programs.
Responsibilities
  • Research training materials and methods, and develop, update, and modify courses and curriculum based on organizational needs
  • Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person training programs for employees and leaders at various levels throughout the organization
  • Support new employee orientation, new leader orientation, leadership development, customer experience, technical training, and other educational programs
  • Coordinate training logistics, including class scheduling, enrollment, materials, and other administrative activities
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems to support course administration, enrollment, tracking, and training delivery
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders and team members to identify learning needs, resolve training-related issues, and ensure effective program delivery
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience coordinating and delivering employee development programs for employees at various levels
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex business and technical information
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems, such as Cornerstone OnDemand or similar platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strong organizational and problem-resolution skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus

Please keep in mind that the rate mentioned above is the full hourly pay rate for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the rate would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
